Welcome to the Alpine Air Motel in the beautiful Adirondack Mountain Village of Lake Placid, New York. Your hosts, the Sparacino family, have been providing lodging accommodations for visitors to Lake Placid since 1992. We offer AAA and Mobil Travel approved quality accommodations ranging from rooms with 1 Queen Size bed, Standard rooms with 2 Double beds or spacious Two Bedroom Suites.

Our property of over 2 acres is located only 1 mile from Main Street Lake Placid in a beautiful wooded setting with spacious grounds and the Chubb River flowing through. You may choose to relax and take in the scenery at our property or explore the many Olympic attractions and outdoor recreational opportunities that include boating, fishing, golf, hiking, mountain biking, cross country & downhill skiing, and much more. We can arrange personalized packages for golf, skiing and guide services for you upon request.

With the Placid Express Shuttle you can leave your car in our parking lot and ride the bus to Main Street for shopping in the many unique stores. During the summer months we have an outdoor heated swimming pool, and just up the street is a miniature golf course. In the winter the Jackrabbit and Peninsula Cross Country Ski trails are just across the street.

Amenities include air conditioning, coffee makers, remote control color TVs with extended cable channels, telephones with free local calls, non-smoking rooms refrigerators available, picnic tables (summer & fall) and an outdoor heated swimming pool (summer only). Please, No Pets Allowed.
